Every bag booked through parkmybag is automatically covered up to £1000 (or €1000 in Europe) against theft or damage when left with our angels.
Please note that we only cover bags booked through Parkmybag.com. Make sure you do not pay cash directly to the angels(storages), because we will only be able to cover items booked through Parkmybag.com. Paying directly to Storages is a violation of our terms and conditions.
If your luggage is stolen or damaged while in storage, please contact Parkmybag and we will help you to process your claim.
Please also be aware that we can only cover theft of luggage as a whole, not individual valuables within your bag. We always encourage travellers to lock their bags while travelling, especially when storing valuables. We provide free uniquely numbered luggage tags to the angels to identify each bag.
Please refer to our list of prohibited items (these are available in our FAQs and our Ts & Cs) - luggage containing any prohibited items will also be disqualified from our insurance.
Although the safety of your luggage is our highest priority, we nevertheless strongly advise you not to store travel documents, keys or valuable electronics (e.g. phones) that might be essential on your trip.
